Stubborn

It is the end of November, it is snowing and our one tree still has most of its leaves. At least it's not a heavy snow that I have to worry about losing branches.

Wordless Wednesday

I couldn't help but snap this cool sunset the other night. When I went into my kitchen, the houses behind me were so orange, I had to go out front and see the sunset.

Winter in Ohio

After a cold and snowy sort of weekend, it got pretty nice here yesterday - close to 60⁰ for the high. Here we are starting the day near 60⁰, by the end of the day the temperature will be dropping 34⁰. Tomorrow, the slide continues.

'Nuff said!

Wordless Wednesday

Yes, I know that I used this picture in another post today. I just love that my kids wanted to participate in the garage sale and made these signs to wave so that everyone would see us.

A Rainbow Makes a Promise

Saw this on our drive home last night:
Every time I see a rainbow, I'm reminded of the song we used to sing at church.

The lyrics went something like this:
A rainbow makes a promise,
that life is here to stay,
promise means there's more to life than what we know today.
I can share tomorrow, if there's one to pledge it to.
I'd like to be a rainbow, and promise life to you.

Whom I kidding, it doesn't just remind me, it causes me to break out in song!

The Intersection of Seasons

Hard to believe early March and a forecast of 70 for NE Ohio.

Sam I Am...

The kids requested Green Eggs and Ham today...I was happy to oblige.

No White Christmas, but...

still a little snow for our Christmas break.

Spring...

the pear trees are blooming! (and I woke to the sounds of birds singing, not the pitter patter of rain!)
