CVS Scenarios - week of 2/5

After a successful visit to CVS last week, I am hopeful that I will be able to pick up some deals this week. I see that they brought back a slightly less 'good' deal on the soda. Now it works out to be $2.33/12pk, versus the $2/12pk that it would have been last week. If I'm there, I might pick up the deal since I failed to make it in last week.

CVS Deals - 1/29

I actually made it to CVS early in the week and did really well. I had hoped to make it back before the end of the week, but as my luck (and schedule) would have it, I never got back to pick up the soda deal.

Transaction #1
2 - M&Ms Chocolate Pretzel
3 - Valentines Day Cards

-$1 M&M IP (coupons.com)
-$1 M&M IP (coupons.com)
-$2 $2/3 American Greetings (cvs.com)

Paid with $3 ECB, adjusted down to $2.97, and $.20 tax OOP. Earned $1 and $3 ECBs.

Transaction #2

Paid with $6 ECBs and $1.13 OOP ($.35 + tax). Earned $6 and $1 ECB. The Reese's didn't print initially and when she printed, it was rounded up to $1.

For the day, I was up $2 ECBs, with $1.33 OOP. So, essentially, it was a free shopping day at CVS.
