Save Money Everyday on Stuff You Buy with Groupon Coupons

I have always been a deal shopper. I suppose I learned it watching my mom when I was a kid, I can remember my mom clipping coupons and submitting rebates for the items that we bought. I can remember Sunday mornings reading through the ads after church and deciding if there were deals worth heading to the store. One of my favorite days to go shopping each year was Black Friday. Not only was it a day out with my mom, grandma, aunts and cousins, but we got some great deals. I can remember one store giving us a $10/$10 coupon to use on top of all of their deals.

Deal shopping has changed a lot since I was a kid. You can get coupons online, apps provide instant rebates on the products you buy and you can find coupons online to your favorite stores.
Groupon Coupons is one source of great offers for your favorite stores. In fact, they currently have 84,186 free coupons at 12,116 stores. Not just any stores, but stores that I already shop at like Ann Taylor, Clarks, Amazon, Target, FootLocker, LL Bean and many others.

When it comes to shoes for work, going out or a casual day around town, I really enjoy wearing Clarks. Nothing compares with the fit and comfort of the shoes that I find at Clarks. My favorite heels that I can wear for hours are Clarks. I almost never wear heels, so that is saying a lot. Today, there are 31 offers for Clarks on Groupons Coupons. The offers are a mix of sales and coupon codes - 25% off, free shipping, and more.

Have you checked out Groupons Coupons? What is your favorite deal?

This is a sponsored post. All opinions expressed are my own.

Ellie by PV Body - save 20%!

The other night I was watching the Biggest Loser. It was Makeover week and I noticed that along with makeover week, they start wearing different stuff at weigh in. The men have stopped taking off their shirts and the women have switched from saggy, baggy to fitted. The thing that is most noticeable is how much better they look.

It got me to thinking how much better I feel when I am wearing clothes that fit right. When I wear saggy, baggy clothes, I tend to have a lower body image. Now that is not something that happens or that I think about when I am relaxing at home, but I do think about it when I am going out, going to work, or working out.

Last month I mentioned that I had gotten some new work out clothes through PV Body. At the time, they were sending outfits from assorted lines, but now they have launched their own line called Ellie. Now that I work out in a group exercise class several times a week and walk on a fully lit track, I feel that I need to wear clothes that are both comfortable and fit. The clothes that I received from their February collection are just that.

The pants were a pair of black capris with a bright pink waist band - they hit me mid-waist and are fairly fitted. That is a good thing - I have a pair of capris that are really flared and I always manage to catch my water bottle on my pants leg during spinning class, which sends the water bottle across the room and leaves me having to clamor off the bike to retrieve it during recovery. In general, I like the way that a fitted pant also helps me remember to pull my abs in while walking or running. It helps me maintain my posture. Plus, I feel like the fitted pants show off my curves - sure they are more generous than I prefer, but I feel better about me when the clothes are fitted (fitted not tight).

The shirt is perhaps one of the softest workout shirts that I own - I love it. It is a soft pink color. It is a longer cut - that works for me, shirts that are too short make me look extra wide - because they make me look straight from the top to the hip. Again, the shirt I chose is a little bit fitted - not tight, fitted. I really like it. It seems to move with me and doesn't get twisted or pull up as a work out. Having worked out in front of a mirror now, I realize that some of my less fitted shirts seem to leave me with skin showing when I am stretching and doing some of the exercises.

Ellie is "a fitness apparel brand that marries fashion and quality!" Join their Fit Fashionista Club and for only $49.95 / month (click here when you sign up and Save 20% on Ellie! - making it only $39.96). With the Fit Fashonista Club you receive two pieces (any price) from that month's collection. Order by the 7th of each month to choose your own, or they will select an outfit for you. Of course, you can always buy pieces on their own, without joining the club.

I love that they update their designs each month and because they are their own designs, I have less chance of finding myself wearing the same workout clothes as the woman next to me (that happened one time at Zumba - I felt a little uncomfortable, because of course, I felt that their outfit fit them better that mine did). I also like that their clothes wash up well, they are washer and dryer friendly.

Why don't you check out Ellie and find workout clothes for your style and fitness activities.

Toys "R" Us deals

Right now, there are two Toys "R" Us offers available that can let you get some stuff for a really great deal.

First, you can head here and print the coupon for $5 off of $5. The offer is good until 8/16.

Second, you can text 5ONUS to 78697 and you will get a message with a link that you can follow at the store and get $5 off of $5.

We grabbed both of these offers this morning and headed to Toys "R" Us this morning. We also had a $3/$3 coupon that my son received for his birthday.

They seem to restrict a lot of the standard Toys "R" Us restricted items on these coupons - like diapers, formula, FAO Schwarz, etc., so you will want to watch the restrictions as you make your selections.

We had to do two transactions, they allowed us to stack the $3/$3 and one of the $5/$5, but not all three in one.

Transaction #1
Racko game

-$3
-$5

Total $1.99 plus tax.

Transaction #2
2 - Craft Sticks (one plain, one colored)

-$5

Total $.98 plus tax.

I was pleased to get us a new (old) game that I used to play as a child and some craft supplies for only a total of $3.16 OOP.

What will you get with your coupons?

Game Deals

We are a big fan of games at our house. We have game nights with friends and play games with the kids. Right now, there are a few game coupons available on Coupons.com.

Game Coupons:
Save $5 Picitionary
Save $3 Jenga or Cranium Brain Break
Save $5 Electronic Catch Phrase or Taboo

To find them quicker, click on the Toys and Games category.

One deal that you can get with these coupons is the Pictionary Card Game. Both Walmart and Target carry the Pictionary Card Game for around $6.

Pictionary Card Game ~$6

-$5 Pictionary IP

~$1 OOP.

I haven't played the Pictionary Card Game yet, but I definitely am going to try to find it and check it out. We enjoy playing Pictionary - we even use our dry erase board on our easel to give us more space to draw when we play.

Giant Eagle Deals - 1/8

Did you happen to print out the coupons from Coupons.com that I shared the other day? If so, and you live near Giant Eagle, you can pick up some great deals this week.

Here is what I picked up today:
2 - Frosted Toast Crunch (@4/$10)
4 - Dulce de Leche Cheerios (@4/$10)
4 - Peanut Butter Cheerios (@4/$10)

-$.75 Frosted Toast Crunch IP
-$.75 double

-$.75 double
-$.75 Peanut Butter Cheerios IP
-$.75 double

Total $10 for 10 boxes of cereal. One dollar a box is a pretty good price for cereal. Now, I didn't actually do this in one transaction, as according to their official coupon policy you can only use 2 like Internet Printable coupons in a transaction.

I also got a good deal on Cheese:
8 - Kraft Shredded Cheese (@2/$4)

-$.50 $.50/2 Kraft Shredded Cheese IP
-$.50 double
-$.50 $.50/2 Kraft Shredded Cheese IP
-$.50 double
-$.50 $.50/2 Kraft Shredded Cheese IP
-$.50 double
-$.50 $.50/2 Kraft Shredded Cheese IP
-$.50 double

Total $12 for 8 packs of cheese. Used to be that 2/$3 was a sale price, but lately 2/$5 seems to be the deal locally, so getting them at 2/$3 is a pretty good stock up price. Again, I didn't actually do this in one transaction per the coupon policy.

I actually still have a couple of coupons left (I have three computers that I can print from - so 6 of each coupon). I might head back to get more, the Frosted Toast Crunch wasn't available today when I printed my coupons - so I only had the two I printed from my main computer. I think I would like to try the new Cheerios before buying more, but if we try them before Wednesday, I just might head back.

But, there were also two new varities of Cheerios that I hadn't seen before -

Always a fan of Cheerios, I snagged the coupons, I have to check these out (okay, I won't eat the Peanut Butter, but I'm thinking the kids would enjoy it).

Little Mommy My Very Real Baby Doll Deal!

I'm not sure if you are still in the market for a My Very Real Baby Doll (Santa brought one to our house), but if you are, this is a great deal.

The dolls retail for $60 (Walmart regular price) - $80 (Toys 'R Us regular price).

Right now, Walmart has them on Clearance for $29.90. There is a coupon for $10 on Coupons.com for this doll. That would make the doll only $19.90 after coupon. A savings of up to 75% off regular retail.

If you have a little girl with a winter birthday, this might be a great toy to grab and tuck away.

The Christmas Singing

I mentioned the other day how I love to give books for the holidays. I wanted to share about a seasonal book that is available now. If you are like me and enjoy Amish fiction (like I've said before, I am so intrigued by their lifestyle and having a story set against that back drop is very interesting to me), you might want to consider getting yourself (or dropping a hint to a loved one) or perhaps share with someone, The Christmas Singing by Cynthia Woodsmall.

You can check out a video trailer for the book here:
and/or you can read the first chapter here.

Right now, you can get 30% off and free shipping on The Christmas Singing (and any other title) when you use promo code CHRISTMAS11 at checkout on WaterBrookMultnomah.com. The coupon code expires on December 20th, 2011.

I never seem to get any $/$$ coupons from CVS anymore. Currently, though, they are offering a $5/$40 or more coupon through their Facebook page. Like CVS on Facebook and then enter your Extra Care Card number and your e-mail. They will send you the coupon and it is good until next Sunday (at least mine is).

I liked it better when their was a better value to the coupon, but I'm not complaining, I'm just happy to get my hands on a $/$$ coupon. Now, to figure out what transactions to combine to make the most of the coupon.
