Quaker Oatmeal Squares - free sample

I mentioned I was doing a couple of BzzCampaigns, here is a chance for you to try the product that I am Bzz-ing about. Quaker Oatmeal Squares. My kids love this cereal. I love that it is good for them, even if they don't know it!

"But in fact, all four flavors, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, Golden Maple and New Honey Nut Quaker® Oatmeal Squares, are heart healthy* and deliver 46 grams of whole grains (that's 96%** of your minimum daily recommendation of whole grains), 5 grams of dietary fiber and 6 grams of protein per serving. Great taste that's great for you? That's pretty darn great. Welcome to the table, Quaker® Oatmeal Squares!

*3 grams of oat soluble fiber when part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol may help reduce the risk of heart disease. This product has 1 gram."

You can request a free sample here through Quaker's Facebook page.

Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm

Recently, I started a new BzzCampaign. I with through a long period where I didn't have many BzzCampaigns, but I actually have three going on right now! The one I wanted to share about today though is the Neutrogena Cosmetic BzzCampaign. One of my favorite products in the mix is the Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm. I love having color on my lips and if that color can help my lips "look softer, rosier, fuller and more defined" in just one week, all the while providing SPF 20 protection - I'm in!

I have only been using it for a couple of days, but I love how it stays "wet" feeling on my lips. As I rub my lips together, I can still feel the moistness on my lips. The color selection is great - Sheer Shimmer, Healthy Blush, Sunny Berry, Petal Glow, Soft Caramel and Fresh Plum.

Deal Seeking Mom shared a Target deal and it shows the Neutrogena Revitalizing Lip Balm in the picture, but the description in the deal simply says Neutrogena Lipp Balm. I'm not sure the Revitalizing one is included or not, but if it is this is a great deal!

(this color is one of my favorites: Sunny Berry)

Neutrogena Lip Balm - $2.49

-$2/1 Neutrogena Cosmetics Target IP

Total OOP $.49!

Now, even if the Revitalizing line is not on this deal for $2.49, the $2 coupon could still make it a good deal.

Werther's Caramels

When I was a kid, we always did a fundraiser and sold candy bars. My favorite ones were the chocolate bars with caramels. There was just something so yummy about the soft, gooey caramel centers. As I got older, I found myself doing baking using caramels. There was a cookie bar that one of my aunts introduced me to - it used cake mix, chocolate and melted caramel. I like to make caramel puffcorn. Really, I am a big fan of caramel.

Years ago, I tried Werther's Original Caramels. I liked them, but when I am looking for a sweet treat, I rarely turn to hard candies.

Then, a few weeks ago, through a BzzCampaign, I had the chance to try out some other varieties of Werther's Caramels.

I think my favorite variety is the Creamy Caramel Filled Hard Candies. The outside delivers that same buttery, caramel goodness that was familiar from their hard candies, but after a few moments, you notice that the hard candy shell gives way and you are left with a sweet, chewy caramel center. Yum!

As a fan of chocolate and caramel, I also enjoyed their Caramel Chocolates. The caramel that is nestled inside these chocolates is a soft, sweet, buttery caramel. The whole candy seems to melt in your mouth.

I also got to try their Chewy Caramels. Visually and initial texture-wise, these reminded me of Royals - do you remember those candies? I don't think I have seen them in a while. The candy starts out rather firm and you have to allow it to soften for a few minutes in your mouth before attempting to chew it. Once softened, it delivers a nice, chewy caramel that has that familiar Werther's caramel flavor.

One new thing that I learned through the BzzCampaign is that Werther's offers a number of recipes on their site. As expected, they have a section dedicated to caramel apple treats of many varieties. But, there are so many more like Caramel Silk Pie, Crunchy Caramel Snack Mix, Caramel Hot Chocolate and Chewy Caramel Bars. I think I might have to do some baking and check out these recipes!

the Latest Bzzz

As you may recall me mentioning, lately I have been getting more Bzz Campaigns than
I had had in a while. I thought I would quickly share them with you.

I shared about the Otria Greek Yogurt Veggie Dips already with you.

I mentioned earlier about the Silk Milk Campaign and their Silk for Milk 10-day Challenge. My kids really enjoy the variety milks that we have been trying. We like the Vanilla Almond Milk and the Vanilla Coconut Milk the best. The kids see it as a treat (like chocolate milk) when they can choose Almond or Coconut milk in lieu of "plain" white milk.

One of my other campaigns is the SC Johnson campaign. Getting a bottle of Scrubbing Bubbles, brings back memories. It sounds silly, but it is what I remember my mom using to clean the bathrooms when I was a child. I always thought it was so cool, the way that you would spray it out and it would foam up and you could listen to the bubbles popping. In addition to that, I got to try Pledge (been using it for years!) and the Glade Sparkle of Spring candle (nice scent - burnt it for a few hours the other night when we had company). In addition, I got to try the new toilet bowl cleaning discs. It comes with an applicator that lets you place it in the toilet bowl under the rim. The gel disc gradually dissolves with each flush.

Another campaign is Children's Claritin Chewables. I must say - THANK GOODNESS THAT IT COMES IN A CHEWABLE. My son, who has slight seasonal allergies, refuses to take drinking medicine. Lately, he has had a cough and even when it is keeping him up, will not drink the teaspoon of medicine to calm the cough. So, as I was saying, my son suffers from seasonal allergies. When we first noticed them, I gave him an allergy medicine (it was a drink kind) that made him so groggy. We knew that we couldn't continue to give that to him, so we tried Children's Claritin. We were pleased with the results - it seemed to help clear up his stuffiness and his eyes seemed less glossy. We (and he) also liked that it was 24 hour dosing - meant less fighting with him to take the medicine. As a result, this is one product that is a regular in my medicine cabinet.

No compensation was received for this post. As a BzzAgent, I received complimentary product to try and to share my experiences with others.

Otria Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip

For a long time, it seemed like there were very few Bzz Campaigns that I was getting invited to. Recently, that has changed. One of the Bzz Campaigns that I have right now is for Otria Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip.

We eat a lot of fresh vegetables at my house and usually, the kids like to have a dip to go with them - so it felt like a natural fit for my family to try theshttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gife new dips. http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif

The first dip I tried was the Otria Cucumber Dill Feta Greek Yogurt Veggie Dip. It just sounded very appealing to me. I love dill dips - I make a Dill Weed dip almost anytime that we have gathering. I love cucumbers - have you tried any of the cucumber ranch dressings? I love Feta cheese - I use it mostly on my spinach salad and my roasted shrimp and tomatoes dish. So, basically, I loved it all!

We had some friends over for dinner one night but were waiting on my husband to get home from class before eating. The kids were getting munchy, so I pulled out some carrots and celery and the dip.

Before opening it, I quickly scanned the ingredient statement, as I know that my friend can't have MSG and that she has said that many dips and ranch dressings have it in them. I didn't see it, so I opened it and set it out for the kids (my friend wasn't in the kitchen at the time). I ran to another room to grab something, and when I came back, sure enough, she was scanning the label looking for the same thing. (Turns out we had both missed the little note on the container that said - No MSG).

We both gave it a try. I have to say that I loved it! I used it over the nexthttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif week for dipping vegetables and then tried it with honey wheat braid pretzels. I couldn't get enough (although I did exercise some great self-control and didn't over indulge too much). It became an evening requirement that along with my cup of tea, I had 5 pretzels with dip (counting the pretzels was my control).

I had good intentions of trying another flavor, but when I went back to the store, I just bought the same one again! Thankfully, my friend had enjoyed the dip and she bought the Garden Herb Ranch flavor to bring to a gathering at my house. I tried it, and it was good, but I think I will stick with the Cucumber Dill Feta flavor.

I just noticed, in sharing links that there is a $1 off coupon offer on their sidebar here.

No compensation was received for this post. I received coupons to try the product and share my experience. I also received $ off coupons to share with my friends and family.

Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers

Recently, my family had the chance to try some of the Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers products through BzzAgent.

When my kids were younger, we were regular consumers of the Gerber Graduates line, which is designed with the development of the child in mind. We must have gone through countless bottles of Puffs - of course, they were still sort of new when my son was a baby and I can remember that we had trouble finding them (or maybe it was just one flavor - its been a long time now) and my mother in law found them and sent us 6 bottles. My son was still snacking on Puffs long after he might have been otherwise. My son liked the banana cookies - was it the flavor or the fun banana shape?

We had not yet tried any of the Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers line. We have now tried the Fruit Twist, Cereal Twists, and Juice Treats. When the box arrived with our sample, I told my daughter that I had some special snacks for her to try. She couldn't wait! My son, of course, wanted to try them too.

The kids seemed to enjoy the Cereal Twists, which are cereal bars filled with fruit and yogurt twisted together. I like that the bars are smaller, better portioned for a preschooler. Looking in my cabinet, many of my cereal bars are around 1.25 to 1.5 oz each, the Cereal Twists are .7 oz each. Normally, when I pack my cereal bars in my bag as a snacking on the go option for the kids, I have them split them. With this smaller bar, one bar is the right portion for a quick, on the go snack. I also like that they are made with whole grains, real yogurt and fruit. They provide 3g of whole grains per serving, as well.

The Juice Treats are similar to what the kids know as fruit snacks. The Gerber Graduates for Preschoolers Juice Treats are made with concentrated fruit and fruit juice (99% for the one I'm looking at right now) and have a soft texture. The kids enjoyed these as well. I'm not sure how the size compares to standard fruit snacks, but I believe it might be a little bit smaller of a package.

The one that they were most excited about was the Fruit Twists. My guess is because they look a little bit like candy - think Twizzlers. The Fruit Twists are also 99% real concentrated fruit and juice. They provide 1/2 a serving of fruit each and contain no artificial flavors or sweeteners. With the individual package, these also make a great, right sized snack for on the go.

My kids enjoyed all of the snacks that we tried and I picked up a couple more boxes for the pantry. I must say, now that I have actually taken them on the go - the smaller size snacks fit much better in my purse too!

No compensation was received for this post. As a participant in this BzzCampaign, I received free product to try and coupons to use and share, as well as information about the product. All opinions expressed in this post are my own and those of my family.

Cheap Today and other bzzz..

I have had quite a few Bzz Campaigns lately through BzzAgent, unfortunately, life has been busy and I haven't had a chance to post to share many of them with you.

Recently, I have been doing a BzzCampaign for CheapToday.com. Have you checked out this website? It is an accumulation of deals available both online and in store. I used the information on this site to find a deal on a Christmas gift for my son. Many of the deals I have seen elsewhere, but it is nice to have them all featured in one location. For the most part, they seem to be very current deals. I haven't found any that when I tried to participate that it wasn't working. Again, I wouldn't say that I found many new things here, but it seems to be a good collection of available deals.

Another website that I have been doing a BzzCampaign for is The Factor Tree. This site is supposed to help your child learn math. The first time we tried it, my son kept getting tired of taking their "qualification" test that they use to place you in the right group. They have been receiving a lot of feedback on their Facebook page from the campaign and are using the feedback to improve the site. This might be an interesting one to check out. I think it might be a good tool for those that home school, as well as for others. I plan to explore the site further with my son, once we get through that initial test.

Seems that they are doing a lot of website BzzCampaigns around now, as I am also doing a BzzCampaign with Cell Phone Post Cards. You can sign up to try it for free. The premise is you take pictures on your cell phone and then turn them into postcards. I'm hoping to use it with some Christmas morning pictures, to send to out of town family that sent gifts as thank you notes. I'm not sure how it will work, but I hope to give it a try.

No compensation was received for this post. I am a BzzAgent and have learned about these websites through BzzCampaigns. Sharing on my blog counts as Bzz and makes me eligible for "stuff" and "status".

The Latest Bzzz

After what has felt like a significant drought, I am busy Bzzz-ing for Bzz Agent again. I actually have 3 campaigns right now. I love the chance to try out new things through Bzz Agent. The Bzz Kit comes with either free product or coupons for free product and information about the product. The goal is for you, once you try the product, to talk to friends and family about the product, share reviews on-line, etc. I love to try new things and when I find something that really works, I love to share, so Bzz Agent is a great program for me.

The first of my campaigns is for COVERGIRL LashBlast Fusion mascara. LashBlast Fusion combines a volumizing brush with a new buildable fiber-stretch lengthening formula that work together to thicken and extend the look of individual lashes. I have been using it for the past few weeks and I like the look. Now, let me preface by saying, I am not a regular wearer of mascara and never have been. I love the look of this mascara on my lashes. In the summertime, my eyes have a tendency to fade away behind my more tan face. Using this mascara has helped my eyes to have "pop" again. I like this. I like that it goes on "thin". What I mean by that is when I apply this mascara it didn't feel thick and goopy on my lashes. Out of fairness, since I don't use mascara often, when I do have it, it sits around and maybe this causes it to thicken, so that when I use it, it does feel thick and goopy. I also worry about eye makeup irritating me because I wear contacts. I have not had issues with the LashBlast Fusion irritating my eyes. I also worry about smudge and smear. I can't remember a show to reference here, but we've all seen them where the woman rubs her eyes or cries and she is left with black mascara around her eyes or running down her cheek. I try not to make a habit of rubbing my eyes or crying, but so far, I haven't had an issue. Overall, if you would like a mascara that will help your lashes look fuller and longer, LashBlast Fusion from COVERGIRL is one you should try.

My second campaign is L'oreal Collagen Micro-Pulse Eye. This is one of the more interesting beauty aids that I have seen. Inspired by professional medical techniques, the L'oreal Collagen Micro-Pulse Eye combines a cream that is formulate with Erasyl and Collagen to help diminish dark circles and smooth away wrinkles with a "ground breaking micro-pulse massager to minimize eye puffiness". I must admit it seemed a little strange to me. There is tube of cream and the lid to that contains, for lack of a better term, a little battery operated vibrator. You apply the cream under your eyes and by any wrinkles or crow's feet that you might have. Then, you recap the tube and turn on the vibrator. You apply this beneath your eyes in 5 locations working from the center out and the center out. Then, using a sweeping motion, you again work from the center out and the center out. It is supposed to immediately deliver crow's feet and eye bags that appear reduced. Over 4 weeks time, it is supposed to deliver crow's feet that appear reduced, dark circles appear minimized and eye bags appear visibly diminished. I will say this, I have constant dark circles, it is more so hereditary than sleep driven, it has reduced them slightly, but they are still there - I guess though, that at some level, I didn't really expect that big of a change from a cream. I feel like my eyes appear less puffy and a little "brighter". The first few times that I used, I think I put too much pressure on the bone beneath the eye socket in using the vibrator and it resulted in a slight headache, I learned from my mistake and use a gentler hand and now do not get headaches. I have only been using the product for a few weeks, so I will have to check back in with an update after four weeks to let you know if I feel like it is delivering on the expected results.

My third current Bzz Campaign is for Horizon Organic Single Serve Milk. Horizon Organic Single Serve Milk comes in four, kid-friendly flavors - 2% Plain, Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry. Just like juice boxes, these single serve milks are shelf stable (although from my perspective, they certainly taste best cold because that is how I know milk, nice and cold). I think it is a great alternative to packing juice boxes for lunches at school or picnics and for taking along as a snack on the road. You can purchase these single serve boxes, 8 oz serving each, in 3 count, 12 count or 18 count packages - but I have seen them at some stores sold refrigerated, as individual cartons to provide a quick grab and go beverage (better than soda for the kids any day!). What can I say, I'm a fan. I like the flavor and consistency of the ultra pasteurized organic milks. My favorite of the group is chocolate (I love chocolate, any opportunity to fit it into my day is a good opportunity from my perspective), but the strawberry is one the kids enjoy (we have been making strawberry milk at home a lot lately, too). Each serving is an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin D and Calcium and provides 8g of protein. If you are looking for a healthy and delicious alternative to the everyday lunch box drink for your kids, I would recommend giving the Horizon Organic Single Serve Milk boxes a try.

No compensation was received for this post. The opinions expressed are solely my own. I did receive, as a member of Bzz Agent and an active participant on these three Bzz Campaigns free product (or free product coupons) to try the product and share my experiences.

RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream

I am a BzzAgent, which means I get the opportunity to try products and share my experience with others. Currently, the product that I am trying through BzzAgent is RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.

The Deep Wrinkle Night Cream combines RoC RETINOL (a form of Vitamin A, first stabilized by RoC in 1995) and a mineral complex of magnesium, zinc and copper. The formula has been optimized to improve the appearance of deep wrinkles, while providing intense moisture. Night time is when your skin is in repair mode, so by using this product at night, you are able to capitalize on the time when your face is most receptive to renewal. When you apply it, the upper layers of the skin begin to firm, providing visible reduction in expression lines. Then, as you sleep, the formula continues to work on smoothing even the deepeest of wrinkles, allowing you to "wake up to beautiful, luminous skin."

RoC Skincare was founded in France and has been available there since 1957. It's products were introduced to the US in 1999.

The use of RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream promises to remove 10 years off the look of your skin in just 12 weeks (on average, based on clinical trials). In an idependent clinical study, it was found to be 7x more effective than another leading brand in diminishing signs of aging. It was 4x more effective at reducing the appearance of under eye and forehead wrinkles and 7x more effective at treating crow's feet.

So, far, I have really liked the product. After cleaning my face at night, I apply the cream over my face. Within a few minutes, I usually notice a tightening feeling on my skin. I assume this is firming of the upper layers. Unfortunately, I am not the most consistent at applying it daily. I have never been one to apply moisturizer at night, so even though I leave the tube on my bathroom counter, I still am inconsistent at using it. I can tell you that I notice a difference in how my face feels on the days that I have used it. My skin seems softer, less dry in the morning following the use of the cream. I plan to continue to use it. I like the way that it makes my skin look and feel, and who knows, if I continue to use it, maybe it will become a habit and I too can experience younger looking skin after 12 weeks of use.

You can get a $3 coupon here to try it for yourself.

I received no compensation for this post. Through my participation in BzzAgent, I was provided with product to try and share, in order that I might form my own opinion and share that. The facts provided in this post are based on the BzzGuide provided for this BzzCampaign and any questions about those facts should be posed to RoC Skincare.

Tried It Tuesday - Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock

As a BzzAgent, I had the opportunity to try Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock lotion. With an spf of 60+, it is a great way to help keep young children safe from the sun's harmful rays. It uses Purescreen, a blend of zinc oxide and titanium dioxide to form a physical barrier to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays. The Pure & Free Sunblock lotion is free of fragrances, dyes or oils.

The sample that I received is the lotion, but it is also available in stick form. I really like that the lotion is thicker than most sunscreens and is easy to blend in. I like that it is waterproof and sweatproof - my kids play hard when they are outside and frequently, we pull out the sprinkler, baby pool or slip'n slide.

The 3 oz lotion and the .47 oz stick retail for between $9.99 and $11.99. At some stores, I have found it with all of the sunscreen, but at some stores it is in the baby aisle.

Have you tried the Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock? What did you think? Share your thoughts in the comments or leave a link to your blog post.

Tried It Tuesday - The Fragrance Collection by Glade

As a participant in BzzAgent, I get the opportunity to try a lot of new products (at least new to me). My most recent opportunity is The Fragrance Collection by Glade. They sent me a multi-wick soy based candle in Currants and Acai, which smells wonderful. The multi-wick candle is also available in Sheer White Cotton and Lotus Bamboo. Both of these scents are also great - they included a scent card so I could experience all of the scents. I think the next one I would try would be the Sheer White Cotton. It conjures up memories of freshly washed sheets that have been hung on the line to dry.

I am a fan of candles. I frequently will light a candle on my kitchen counter to enjoy. I find that the flickering light can be very relaxing. In addition, the scents that fill your home when these candles are burning is terrific. Candles really can create a mood and make your house feel homey and inviting. When I am hosting a party, I like to light a candle in the bathroom.

The multi-wick candle, with its three wicks is nice because it allows for it to burn down more evenly. The 10 oz candle will burn for up to 35 hours and retails for $8.99. Compared to some other fancy candles, this is a decent price and since it is by Glade, you can find it where you do your regular shopping, no need to make a second stop to pick up a boutique candle.

In addition to the multi-wick soy based candles, there are reed diffusers and smaller 4.9oz soy candles in The Fragrance Collection. The reed diffusers come in the same scents as the multi-wick candles and retail for the same $8.99 for 12 reeds and 1.62 fl oz of fragrant oil. The soy candles come in three different scents - McIntosh Apple (92.4% natural), Earthly Awakening (93.0% natural) and Orange Vanilla (94.2% natural) - and burn for up to 26 hours with a suggested retail of $5.99. I think that the Orange Vanilla is the most intriguing of these three scents to me.

You can get a $2 coupon to try anything from The Fragrance Collection here.

Have you tried any of The Fragrance Collection by Glade? What is your favorite? Share with us something that you have tried. You can leave a comment below or link to your blog. Just be sure to leave a link back to this post on your blog.

Tried It Tuesday - Pledge Fabric Sweeper

As part of a current Bzz Campaign for BzzAgent, I was given the opportunity to try out the Pledge Fabric Sweeper for Pet Hair. As I have mentioned before, I have a cat and I use lint rollers to try to keep on top of some of the excess cat hair that accumulates on the furniture, curtains and more. So, when I was contacted by BzzAgent to try out the new Pledge Fabric Sweeper, I was excited to give it a try.

When the Fabric Sweeper arrived, we wondered about it. It seems like a 'simple' tool, how could it work. We've used lint rollers and tried using upholstery attachments for the vacuum, both of which seem to work so-so.

My husband first tried to use it on the curtains, but I don't think there was enough tension - I think that if someone held the curtains tight, it might have worked - and so he didn't seem to get much hair. Then, he moved on to the side of the recliner. Our recliner sits next to an end table - there is maybe 6" between them. To our cat, this is the most obvious and convenient route to leave the family room, so he frequently squeezes his 20# body through this opening. Using short side to side strokes to clean the side of the chair, my husband was amazed at how well it worked and declared "you can't tell there was ever any fur there" when he was done.

It really is a clever little contraption. It has a plastic ergonomically shaped body that functions as the handle and the reservoir for accumulating the fur that you sweep up with it. The collection portion is two 1/2 roller looking pieces that are covered in velour fabric. They capture the fur and as you work it back and forth, it moves the pet hair into the collection chamber and traps it.

According to the product website, the fabric sweeper can clean up as much pet hair as 145 sticky roller sheets - making the $4.99 Suggested Retail Price about average. The sweeper is disposable and should last about 3-5 weeks with daily use. Simply continue to use it until the collection area is full and then toss the whole thing.

I am pleased with this find. The website doesn't mention curtains, but I think that I will try to hold the fabric taut and have my husband try it again - that is one of our biggest pet hair nuisance areas.

Have you tried this or another product? Leave a comment or post your link in Mr. Linky and share your experience. Be sure to leave a link back to this post.

The Latest Bzz - Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaner

I'm a BzzAgent and last week I received in the mail, the product for my latest Bzz Campaign: Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaner. I got both a spray bottle and some wipes. With BzzAgent you get the opportunity to participate in BzzCampaigns where you get to try new things (products and services) for free (or for a small cost) and share the experiences (and typically coupons) with your friends. If you would like to be a BzzAgent too, you can sign up at BzzAgent.com

This past week, I was noticing that there were some great opportunities to test this multi-surface cleaner. I started by cleaning my kitchen cabinet doors & drawers, where there was splattered milk spots and other sticky stains. I was not disappointed. It cleaned up the mess that was on the doors/drawers and left the surface looking fresh with just a touch of shine. Some of the stickier spots required a little bit of elbow grease, but this didn't surprise me. Then, I used it to dust the glass table top on my decorative table in my foyer. Again, not disappointed. It addressed the dust but left me a streak free finish. It was so convenient to just take the one bottle with me to clean everything. I still have to try the wipes. Since they are individually wrapped, I think I will put some in my car, since it tends to get dusty and maybe take a couple to work.

The product is essentially unscented. This is a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it. You don't get that freshly cleaned smell that some products give you. On the other hand, unlike some other cleaning products, you aren't bowled over by the smell of the product either.

Pledge Multi Surface cleaner helps eliminate the need to juggle lots of cleaning products, since you can use it on wood, metal, glass, mirrors, electronics, plastic - virtually any hard surface in your home. The only surface that it can't be used on is unsealed wood or granite and marble, because they are porous. It is also anti-static, which means it safe for use on electronics.

The multi-surface formula, cleans and dusts removing dust, fingerprints, smudges and smears. As a mom of two little ones, I have plenty of fingerprints, smudges and smears. My cat helps support the seemingly nonstop generation of dust. So, I have lots of uses for this product.

Pledge Multi Surface comes in two different forms- spray and wipes. The spray comes in a 16 oz bottle and the wipes come in a 25 count package both for a suggested retail price of $4.59. A new 360 fluffy all-around duster, the Multi Surface Disposable Duster is also available. The kit comes with a handle and two dusters for a suggested retail price of $2.99. There is also a refill pack which contains 5 dusters for $4.49.

Want to learn more? Head over to Pledge.com for cleaning tips and more information about Pledge Multi-Surface products.

I've seen postings for free samples of this product recently, but most indicate dead deals. If you sign up for the Right At Home newsletter, you might be able to get some coupons through them. Last night, when I ran to CVS, they had the spray bottles of Pledge Multi-Surface in their clearance section, so you might be able to try it for less that way.

If you've tried this product, let me know what you think of it by leaving a comment. This campaign includes ChatThreads, where you can enter conversation ID: 101 753 3495 and take a short survey. Then, you can have ChatThreads donate up to $5 to charity or enter to win up to $500 in Amazon.com gift certificates. If you tell someone else about Pledge Multi-Surface Cleaners, share this conversation code with them and they too can log on to donate or enter to win.

The Latest Bzz.

I'm a BzzAgent and last week I received in the mail, the product for my latest Bzz Campaign. The Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber. With BzzAgent you get the opportunity to participate in BzzCampaigns where you get to try new things (products and services) for free (or for a small cost) and share the experiences (and typically coupons) with your friends. The Scrubbing Bubbles Action Scrubber is really simple to use, you attach the cleaning pad to the handle, wet it and start cleaning. The handle is ergonomically designed to make it easy and comfortable to use. It is made from extruded foam and is water repellent. The cleaning pad contains the Scrubbing Bubbles cleaning solution and it is claimed to remove two times more soap scum than some leading competitors. It has multi-layered tiny scrubbing fibers. Once the cleaning pad is attached to the handle, you simply wet it to activate the cleaning solution. It is recommended that you also wet the surfaces prior to cleaning for best results. If there are tough to reach corners (we didn't have any), you can simply remove the pad and use it alone to clean those crevices. When you are done scrubbing, rinse your tub or shower, throw out the pad and store the handle on top of the tub that holds six refill pads.

I'll confess, I am fortunate enough to have a husband who does bathrooms, so I let him put it to the test. He said that it was easy to use and felt that it did a pretty good job, even on the soap scum that seems to be ever present on the shower door. He said that the handle was flexible enough to allow him to clean all surfaces without having to use the cleaning pad without the handle. He liked it but said that he was concerned with what the refill pads might cost. I couldn't help him with this question and haven't been to the store since he asked. So, overall, he liked the product and the way it performed, but needs to understand the refill cost to determine if it is a value to him.

If you would like to try it, there is a coupon offer for $2.75 on the Scrubbing Bubbles website here.

The latest Bzz

About 6 months ago a friend of mine introduced me to BzzAgent. It really is a neat marketing concept. Companies send out product or coupons for product to a targeted group of consumers. This allows those consumers to try this product that they may not have tried otherwise. Since we as a group tend to share product likes and dislikes naturally with friends and family in conversation, once we've tried the product we have a tendency to talk about it. With BzzAgent, once you start talking, you write a report on their website to share what you said and your family and friend's reactions. By sharing your Bzz, in a BzzReport, you have the chance to improve your status, which allows you the opportunity to be in more campaigns and you get to earn "stuff", which amounts to MyPoints and Womlets (discounts to on-line merchandisers).

On the campaign I am currently participating in, Nabisco Teddy Grahams Trail Mix, they sent along cards for ChatThreads. With ChatThreads, after you Bzz your friends and family, you hand them this card and they go on-line to answer some questions about the conversation. Once they do, they can choose to donate up to $5 to a charity or enter for a chance to win up to $500 in Amazon.com gift certificates. So, let me tell you about Teddy Grahams Trail Mix and you can complete ChatThreads and either support a charity or take a shot at winning some gift certificates.

They sent two types of Teddy Graham Trail Mixes, Bears & Bees and Bears & Cheese. Bears & Bees is made up of Chocolate Teddy Grahams, Honey Maid Grahams Bees, Pretzels and Yogurt Flavored Raisins. The Bears & Cheese is made up of regular Teddy Grahams, Pretzels, Raisins and Cheese Nips crackers. The suggested retail is $2.99 for an 8 oz box. They are fairly healthy with no cholesterol and low in saturated fat.

My 5 year old loves them, although he keeps asking for more raisins, so there aren't enough raisins in either flavor for his liking. My 20 mos old, will eat everything but the pretzels. It is almost funny watching her eat around the pretzels in her bowl. I tried them myself. They aren't too bad overall. There seems to be a good balance of the different items. For an adult taste, there doesn't seem to be the right balance of sweet and salty in the Birds & Bees mix...however, for my children, I think it is appropriate and the trail mix really is for a child. The Birds & Cheese with the addition of Cheese nips seems to have a better balance for my tastes. I'm a big fan of Teddy Grahams and find myself picking them out when we set out a bowl. The 8 oz box is a perfect size to travel with - it even fits nicely on the side of your seat in the car (in that little alcove between your seat and door, where it stays put and is in an easy location to quickly grab and fill up a snack cup for your kids in the car. If you are looking for a variety snack for your toddler and preschool crowd, my toddler and preschool crowd recommends them.

So, now for ChatThreads, if after reading this post you would like to take a few minutes and answer some questions, you can give to charity or enter a contest. Simply go to ChatThreads.com and enter Conversation ID 101 833 2472. Tell them about our "conversation" and find out how to donate up to $5 to charity or enter to win up to $500 in gift certificates to Amazon.com. Then come back here and leave a comment about which you did.

More to come...
