Well, after 8 weeks of slacking, I finally got my body in gear again this week. I kept finding reasons not to get up at 5 am (you can only imagine how hard it must be to come up with a reason not to start my day at 5 am). I decided I must get back in gear. After all, summer is here.
I restarted P90X, going back to week 1, rather than jumping in where I had left off. My body hurt so bad this week. It is amazing how much you lose in a mere 8 weeks. Let that serve as a reminder to myself that missing a day or two is okay, but any more is not acceptable.
I monitored my calories, but I found that with the reintroduction of the exercises, I was ravenous. It seemed that I was constantly hungry. I tried to fill myself with healthy stuff like oatmeal and apples, but sometimes chocolate won the fight.
I didn't lose any this week, which I didn't lose the first week last time either. I did however gain weight over the last 8 weeks.
