CVS Deals - 5/4

For a change of pace, I went to CVS early this week. I didn't set out too, but I actually made two stops today. Here is what I got:

Stop #1
3 - Kellogg's Frosted Flakes
2 - Gold Emblem Candies (had to get them to not "waste" $3 of my ECB I was using)

-$3 3x$1 Kellogg's Frosted Flakes IP here and here

Paid with $10 ECBs and $0 OOP. Earned $5 ECBs.

Stop #2
I had a meeting this evening, that was done before I got there. With my extra time, I decided to stop at the bank and since there is a CVS next door and it was early, I stopped by. I wanted to see if they had the clearance Adidas product that I had read about. They didn't have any sign marking it on clearance, but I remembered that it was the "Intense" variety that others had specified as being on clearance. This store didn't have a price scanner, so I had the cashier scan it and sure enough it was on clearance.

Transaction #1
1 - Adidas Intense Antiperspirant

Paid $1.34 OOP, earned $3 ECBs.

I walked out and then decided that since the limit was three and I could get two more with the ECB I had just earned, I would grab two more.

Transaction #2
2 - Adidas Intense Antiperspirant
2 - 3-pk Ferrero Rondnoir

Paid with $3 ECBs and $.24 OOP. Earned $6 ECBs.

As a note, my receipt does not say limit reached on the Adidas deal, so it might actually be more than a limit of 3.

I started the day with a $10 ECB, spent $1.58 OOP (saved $35.03, ~96% savings!) and now have $11 in ECBs. My net "cost" was only $.58, when you consider the increase in ECBs. Getting the two 3-pk Ferrero Rondnoir for $.58 would have been a steal to me, so all of the other stuff was like a "free" bonus.
