Mamavation Monday

Well, last week was a better week. I feel like I am starting to get back on track.

Today, there was a birthday at work, which means all sorts of goodies are generally brought in. I did a very good job of not eating the goodies. I did have a little bit of the apple crisp that I made, but it was a reasonable portion and the primary ingredient was apples. I know that the cooking makes it no longer a Zero PointsPlus value, but I had less than one apple and the amount of butter/sugar/flour mixture was small enough that overall the treat was not too bad at only 3 PointsPlus value.

I also successfully avoided the community candy jar - which is always so tempting to me. That was a good step in the right direction.

I have started to exercise in the morning again. It feels good. I'm not back into P90X just yet. I have been doing the Leslie Sansone Walk At Home Walk Eat Lose! 21-day Challenge workout. It is a pretty good little walk so far.

This post shared at Mamavation Monday. The sponsor is Earth Footwear and the question of the week is: Where will your feet take you this year? Any plans for a big hike, race, or just a lot of walking? I think the most walking that I will do (aside from my daily walking) will be when we make our family vacation to Disney later this year.

No compensation was received for this post. I am a Weight Watchers Insider for the new Weight Watchers PointsPlus program and have received complimentary online access to Weight Watchers, an IPad with the Weight Watchers Kitchen Companion App downloaded, a Flip Camera and other tools to help me on my weight loss journey, using Weight Watchers. 'People following the Weight Watchers plan can expect to lose 1 - 2 pounds per week.' This Mamavation Monday post is sponsored by Earth Footwear and by posting, I am entering a giveaway for a pair of shoes from Earth Footwear.

Can I PLEASE stow away in your suit case when you go to Disney?

Why is that darn community candy bowl so blinking hard to stay away from? Kudos to you for being able to. It's second nature for me to just take a piece (or more than a piece) and pop it in my mouth. Ugh!

Have an awesome week!
