CVS Scenarios - week of 10/31

First, let me start by saying, I'm not ready for a full spread of holiday deals - when I turned to that page in the CVS ad this week, I thought really, it's only Halloween!

The buy $25 in P&G product and get the Toy Story 3 DVD for $3.99 with card, feels like a pretty decent deal, especially when paired with coupons. I think though, that I am likely to skip this offer though, and use the $8 IP for the combo pack that includes the BluRay - I saw it in Target's ad for $24.99 - anyone know where it is cheaper?

This one, I might consider trying to add some of the Revlon Cosmetics to bring my total to $15 to use the coupon that the ad indicated would be printing at the coupons machine this week. I think that it would be $15 before the the 50% off the second item. I have a few $1 Revlon Color Cosmetic coupons. I will have to play with this and see what works out. It will mean more OOP.

For the day, the total OOP is $8.97 with a $4 ECB left to roll, for about $35 in product at sale prices. Not too shabby - a 77% savings.
