I headed to CVS on Monday, figuring I would need to get a bunch of rain checks for the back to school deals. Turns out, I was in luck, they had some of the free after ECBs deals in stock. When I got to the store, I scanned my card and got a $1.50 on Speedstick CRT, making it a better than free deal for the Speedstick Pro.
Here is what I got: 2 - 1 Subject Caliber Notebooks (raincheck from last week) 1 - Skittle Crazy Core Movie box (clearance filler) 1 - Gold Emblem Gummy Bears (I'm a sucker for chewy candy) 1 - Duracell AA 4pk 2 - 150ct Notebook Paper (weren't these 200ct when I was a kid) 1 - CVS Pantiliners 2 - Papermate 10ct pens 2 - Speedstick Pro 2 - Gold Emblem Nuts
I paid with $7.99 and $5 ECBs and paid $.49 OOP. I earned $1, $1, $.89, $1, $4, $1.98 and $4 ECBs. Net cost was a profit of $.39. I am fairly pleased with the transaction.
I work full-time outside of the home, while being a full-time mom to
a 10 year old son and 6 year old daughter. I'm also a wife to my
husband of 14 years.
I started this blog shortly after I started CVS-ing. I was
reading about everyone's plans and successes, so I decided I wanted
someplace to share my money saving adventures. I'm working on adding
some regular "features" to the blog as well as continuing to share my
money saving adventures and participating in some recipe exchanges.
