Mamavation Monday

I am so proud of myself. I restarted P90X last week, officially starting my fourth round of P90X. I set a plan for myself that was more intense than previous rounds. I did my P90X DVD each morning during the week. I walked at least 10,000 steps a day during the week. Each evening, I either did Ab Ripper X or walked 2 miles using the Walk At Home DVDs. I've tried before to do Ab Ripper X in the morning, but more times than not, I ran out of time and wasn't able to fit in consistently. The evenings work so much better for me.

I did a pretty good job with eating. I tracked everything, and I ate more than I planned. I had dinner out on two evenings (one with dessert and wine), which didn't help me with keeping my Points consumption down. Then one evening, I was in a funk and had some snacks - only I had a little crunchy, a little sweet, a little salty. The good news is that after doing that, I did my Ab Ripper workout - telling me it was just a minor set back.

I realized after posting last week that I rounded up my weight loss goal. That's okay, I'll stick with it. I did lose 1# last week, despite my challenges of eating out and my one evening snack binge.

This coming week is expected to be more of a challenge for me. I have some lunch meetings and a few nights out to dinner that face me this week. I hope to stick to my evening exercise plan despite the busy evening schedule that I have this week.

Wow, you are doing an awesome job! I love the idea of doing Ab Ripper at night - I will definitely do that when I start P90X in January! I finally bought my door attachment for the bands since hubby won't put up the chinup bar, so I'm all on board once my lungs heal! :-)

It sounds like you really did a have a great week! Congratulations on your loss - every little bit counts!

I hope you have a great week this week!
