Weight Watchers Online & Giveaway

Well, I am finally going to get really focused on what I am eating. I still haven't been able to find a meeting that works well with my current schedule. I know that after the start of the new year, my husband's school schedule will allow me to return to my regular meeting, but I have decided that I can't wait then to resume my focus on my diet.

I have decided to start participating as an online member of Weight Watchers. I already know that I love their eTools. It made it really easy to track my Points with its search and find features, as well as the option to enter the nutritional information from the package to determine the Points. Their mobile friendly site allowed me to keep track on the go. Their recipe builder allowed me to calculate points for the foods that are part of the way I eat - rarely do I have a plain chicken breast, normally it is part of a recipe or a casserole.

With a Birthday Party next weekend, some might question that this is the right time to start, but I feel that there is no time like the present. Sure I might struggle to follow things fully next weekend, but if I don't start now, I am a full week behind.

To help me mark the restart of my journey to eat healthier, I am excited to offer to you a giveaway.

Giveaway
Thanks to Weight Watchers, I have two Lose for Good T-shirts and tote bags up for grabs. They are size Medium shirts. There will be two winners, each receiving a t-shirt and a tote bag.

To enter - Leave a comment sharing the food that you find the hardest to resist and how you manage it. For me, it is chocolate and I have found that by including a small piece on occasion, that I am less likely to overdo it than I would be if I tried to avoid it.

I LOVE chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. The Betty Crocker kind. Don't know why, but man that's hard to resist for me. I make it and eat a small piece, then take the rest to my dad so I can't eat more of it! :-)

I just love your blog, I have a weakness for Kettle chips "at night" I have strictly prohibited myself from buying/bringing them into my home. Which is extremely difficult. I am getting back on track.

thank you Lisa

LOVE peanut butter! In any form! lol :)That's a tough one to moderate, especially since it's so many points for such a small amount!

Gotta say, I love my ww online tools! I use them ALL the time. So glad they offer such a great option for people wanting to lose/maintain weight.

My hardest item to stay away from is sweet breads like rolls, quick bread, etc. They are so yummy and sweet I find if I have one I will have 2 or 3.

I have trouble staying away from desserty-type stuff. The best way is for me to not buy it since I buy almost all of the groceries! :)

I love your blog, but that's calorie free! I have a hard time staying away from chips. Live the salt and the crunch!

For me its ice cream. I just buy single serving cones now to resist binging on the entire pint of ice cream!

I have a hard time staying away from Dairy Queen ice cream. I've found that by eating low calorie ice creams from the store I can save myself from the very fattening ice cream from there.
