I headed out to CVS on Friday to take advantage of the Benefiber deal a second time and with a goal of using a $5/$30 coupon I had received in e-mail. I have to say, that $5/$25 is a much better deal. I wound up having to fill my order with extra stuff to use my 2 $10 ECBs. If it had been a $5/$25 coupon, then I would have likely just paid cash for the couple bucks I was over, but with it $8+ over, I felt it was better to use fillers to get there.
Paid with $20 in ECBs and $.71 OOP. I earned $10, $2, and $1 ECB. Unfortunately, as I was going through my receipt, I discovered that I was charged for 4 Ice Cream Cones, so now I will have to go back to the store to get a refund. I would have skipped the fillers if I had known. I am sure it will be a challenge since I only paid $.71 in cash and need a refund of $2.
I work full-time outside of the home, while being a full-time mom to
a 10 year old son and 6 year old daughter. I'm also a wife to my
husband of 14 years.
I started this blog shortly after I started CVS-ing. I was
reading about everyone's plans and successes, so I decided I wanted
someplace to share my money saving adventures. I'm working on adding
some regular "features" to the blog as well as continuing to share my
money saving adventures and participating in some recipe exchanges.
